But the drag queen gained notoriety online after she iconically said 'Miss Vanjie, Miss Vanjie, Miss Vanjie' while strutting backwards on the runway during her elimination. That moment quickly became a viral meme, and it was even shared on Twitter by RuPaul. Now Miss Vanjie is back and ready to propel herself past the first episode to potentially win the crown for season 11. She is joined in the cast with Minneapolis-based queen Mercedes Iman Diamond, who will become the first Muslim to appear on the VH1 competition show. Besides performing drag, Mercedes also designs her own jewelry which she will often wear for her performances on stage. Fans might get a glimpse of the jewelry during the new season.
